Arnd Peiffer

Arnd Peiffer comes from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and starts for the Clausthal-Zellerfeld WSV. Peiffer had the first international appearance in December, 2007 when he booked the fifteenth place with the European cup of the juniors in the singles and could already run with the next sprint his first victory.

On the 8th of January, 2009 he debuted as a member of the German 4×7,5 km relay in upper court in the world cup. With the last world cup station of the season in Chanty-Mansijsk Peiffer succeeded in the sprint his first victory in a world cup running. With the second-best run achievement and a perfect shooting he asserted himself consider against the world élite.

Peiffer belonged from start of the season of the biathlon-world cup in 2009/2010 to the firmly nominated starters of the German team in the world cup. He created consistently orders in the point ranks and celebrated in Antholz in the sprint his second world cup victory. In the whole evaluation of the world cup he booked in the final account place 9.

Arnd Peiffer took part in the Winter Olympics in 2010 in Vancouver. Beside place 5 with the German relay rank 17 in the mass start was his best result.
