Magdalena Neuner is biathlon's shooting star. The 22 year old six-fold world champion is from Wallgau.

Magdalena made her breakthrough in the winter of 2007, when she achieved seven seasonal victories as a 20 year old - including three titles during the WC in Antholz. During the following season she again won Gold three times during the World Championships in Östersund and was also the overall World Cup Winner.

Magdalena Neuner experienced the temporary climax of her career with the Olympic plays in Vancouver with which she attained right away twice gold and once silver.

The likeable athlete has lost nothing of her naturalness despite the hype about her person - a shooting star without airs and graces but with an enchanting smile and her enticing hobby: cooking.
