The traditional family-owned company JORDAN emphasises customer orientation, quality and service. In the course of continuous service scope expansion, the capacity of the central warehouse in Kassel was extended by
50% to more than 10,000 m floor space in only 6 months of construction time.
The objective of the investment was to improve operational processes through the use of state-of-the-art technology such as a new cutting machine, a fully automated distribution system as well as the introduction of a warehouse information system with scanner technology in order to ensure efficient processes and a logistics service of the highest standard. Logistics structured in this manner ensures a future economic basis for country-wide 24-hour
delivery service and thus an optimal customer service.
During this year alone, JORDAN has invested around 3 million €. for constructional measures including new machinery. The central warehouse in Kassel invested more than 5 million € since its last expansion in 2003. The number of employees, at the central warehouse in Kassel alone, was increased from 40 to 70 people.

With wood as a renewable raw material and equipped with a completely new heating system for all halls with district heating from the Kassel Municipality as well as our own photovoltaic system, JORDAN operates its central warehouse in CO2 neutral manner and thus avows itself to its responsibility for an environmentally friendly future to the highest degree.
