Danilo Riethmüller
Danilo already dominated the biathlon in the school and youth classes. He was able to take part in the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games and was delighted to win a silver medal with the mixed relay team. As an exceptional talent, he was able to compete in his first men's races at the age of 19 thanks to his great successes. He finally celebrated his World Cup debut in 2024. In the 2024-2025 season, he confirmed his great talent with his first World Cup podium. Danilo's greatest success to date is the bronze medal in the relay at the last World Championships in Lenzerheide.

What makes a house or flat a home for you?
For me, my home is a place of retreat, it has to be cosy, should radiate warmth so that I can feel at ease. Just lie down on a cosy sofa and spend time with my family.
Do you have certain rituals or habits before a competition?
I get everything ready the evening before. There's a little something I can't do without, it's my lucky charm that's always with me.
What is your favourite leisure activity?
I enjoy being out in nature, hunting, fishing or in our garden. But my favourite thing is spending time with my family and our dog. Occasionally I also read a good book.
