Declaration on accessibility
W. & L. Jordan GmbH endeavours to keep the website www.joka.de accessible without barriers. This accessibility statement applies to the website www.joka.de .
Legal basis
The legal basis is Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) based on it.
Although joka.de is not a traditional public authority, we voluntarily comply with the applicable standards and recommendations in order to provide all users with access to our digital content with as few barriers as possible.
Accessibility status
The website www.joka.de is currently partially accessible.
It fulfils the requirements of BITV 2.0 in part, but still has some barriers.
Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, the following content is not yet fully accessible:
- PDF files and documents: many of the PDFs we offer for download do not currently meet the requirements for accessible documents (e.g. missing tags, non-accessible layouts).
- Alternative texts: Some images and graphics do not yet have complete or meaningful alternative texts.
- Keyboard operability: Full keyboard navigation is restricted in certain areas of the site.
- Colour contrasts: Some text elements do not yet meet the contrast requirements of WCAG 2.1.
- Forms and interactive elements: Some form elements are not sufficiently labelled for screen readers.
We are continuously working to identify and remove these barriers.
Creation of this statement
This statement was created on 18 July 2025 and is based on an internal assessment and supporting technical analysis.
The content is reviewed regularly and updated if significant changes occur.
