Kjare natural wood flooring by JOKA – a nature lover, family man and a reliable companion.
“I’m glad you’ve found me. I’ve got genuine oak at my heart, I love a lively family life just as much as quiet Sundays, and I stay calm when things go a bit awry in everyday life. Renovating? I’m happy to join in. Kitchen or bathroom? I’m on it. My roots are in Europe, and I might just be calling your home my own very soon.
Yours, Kjare"
With Kjare (Norwegian for ‘darling’) , we are introducing a revolutionary natural wood floor that innovatively combines the familiar characteristics of parquet with the benefits of a modern flooring construction.
Thanks to a 1.2 mm-thick layer of premium timber, precious oak is utilised particularly efficiently without compromising on the character of a genuine wooden floor.
Furthermore, Kjare features a robust, water-resistant construction and can be easily laid as a floating floor or fully glued – ideal for renovations and projects where a natural look and suitability for everyday use are required.

- Made from 89 per cent wood
- Distinctive natural texture
- Aqua-Protection 24 hours
“Whether it’s lively in the dining room or wet in the bathroom – I stay cool.”
Children, pets, visitors – just normal family life: Kjare takes it all in its stride. Its robust construction and hard-wearing surface provide reliable protection against the stresses and strains of everyday life. At the same time, this natural wood floor is easy to maintain and simple to clean.
Thanks to its water-resistant core and Aqua-Protection lasting up to 24 hours, your favourite floor, Kjare, is also perfectly at home in the kitchen or bathroom – provided it’s not in areas directly exposed to water. It thus combines the natural beauty of wood with a durability that opens up new possibilities.

Kjare offers two styles: NATURE, with a calm oak finish and subtle knots, and VILLA, with livelier, more distinctive finishes and expressive grain. You can choose between matt lacquered or oiled, authentically brushed surfaces.
“My roots are European and my base is renewable.”
Kjare consists of 89 per cent wood, a renewable raw material; it is free from PVC and plasticisers and bears the eco-INSTITUT label. Manufactured in Europe, this natural timber flooring stands for the responsible use of resources and offers short supply chains.

- Durable & robust
- eco-INSTITUT label certified

Whether it’s a new build or a renovation – Kjare is a natural wood floor for anyone who loves real wood whilst also valuing the conservation of natural resources, practicality for everyday use and timeless design.
“I’m a natural sort – not only do I look good, but I feel good too. My roots are European. My heart beats for your home. I’m here to stay – your Kjare.”
