3 questions for Charlotta
How did you get into biathlon?
The only thing I regularly watched on TV as a child was biathlon, but I never imagined that I would be able to do this sport myself. After I started cross-country skiing as a competitive sport relatively late, at the age of 15, my big wish was to be able to do biathlon at some point. At the age of 20, I finally decided to take the step and switch from cross-country skiing to biathlon.
What motivates you?
What motivates me is working on myself every day and ultimately getting the maximum performance out of my body through targeted training stimuli and fine details. It fascinates me to observe the physical changes. This tireless pursuit of progress and perfection is the driving force that keeps me moving forward. Successes and positive experiences along the way give me additional motivation and reassurance.
What does nature mean to you?
For me as a biathlete, nature is not just a training environment, but also a place of peace and relaxation. It gives me strength and helps me to recharge my batteries. I value nature for its sustainable resources and the balance it offers between performance and relaxation.
